NAWA scholarships
NAWA (the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange) was established on October 1st, 2017 by the Ministry of Higher Education and Science. The mission of NAWA is to foster the development of Poland in the area of science and higher education by supporting its internationalisation. In order to do this, NAWA offers many scholarship programmes for international students and Polish language learners. Some of their scholarship programmes include the General Anders Programme, Poland My First Choice, the Banach Scholarship, and the EU4Belarus programme. New programmes are also developed from time to time, so make sure to check their website periodically to see if you are eligible for any financial support.
Scholarships for students from post-Soviet countries and Eastern Partnership
Prof. Stanisław Tołpa Scholarship is aimed at citizens of post-Soviet countries with Polish roots and Polish language skills. Candidates should apply for the scholarship in a Polish consulate in their home countries. The amount of students who might receive the scholarship varies each year.
Scholarship of Wspólnota Polska Association is available for persons of Polish origin or Pole’s Card holders. Financial aid is provided for Bachelor, Master and PhD courses.

Central European and post-Soviet countries
Visegrad Scholarship is available for citizens of the following countries: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Czech Republic, Georgia, Hungary, Kosovo, Moldova, Montenegro, Northern Macedonia, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia and Ukraine. Financial aid might be provided for up to 4 semesters for Master and PhD courses.

Scholarship of Adam Mickiewicz Foundation in Canada is available for Canadian citizens for Bachelor and Master courses.
Scholarships of the Fulbright Program is targeted at North American and Polish scholars, students and teachers to facilitate Polish-American educational exchange.
UPWr scholarships and financial aid
The university offers a limited number of scholarships, including a scholarship for excellent academic, art or sports achievements obtained during your course of study, a scholarship for students with disabilities, financial support for students from low income households and an emergency fund for students facing unexpected financial difficulties. International students might be eligible to apply for some of those depending on their exact situtation, however, in many cases, the total amount of scholarships awarded by the university will not cover the full cost of tuition and living expenses.
