Food Technology and Culinary Arts

The aim of the Food Technology and Culinary Arts programme is modern education of experts in gastronomy services. The innovative study programme combines theoretical knowledge gained at WUELS with practical experience available during internships at partner organizations, such as: food processing & food production companies, restaurants and catering services.

Food Technology and Culinary Arts programme educates future technologists and gastronomy managers. Students have an opportunity to learn about consumer science, technology and food safety, human nutrition and dietetics. Subjects included in study program provide advanced knowledge about production and food processing, with special reference to the methods and techniques used in modern gastronomy.

The Food Technology and Culinary Arts programme prepares students to work in sectors connected with food production and nutrition, but most importantly – in catering establishments and mass caterers.   

Please notice that this programme is only offered in the Polish language and the minimum required level of proficiency is B2 (upper intermediate).
