A graduate of Biology programme has the knowledge and skills of general biology, based on mathematics, natural sciences and additional practical abilities. During these studies, a graduate will gain knowledge about human, floral and animal anatomy and physiology, as a result of modules that look at the zoology of vertebrates and invertebrates; botany; human anatomy; comparative anatomy; animal and plant physiology; microbiology; the basics of palaeontology; geology and plant morphology; general, analytical, physical and organic chemistry; biochemistry; and biophysics. Biological knowledge developed through the practical aspects of this branch of science increases the opportunities for employment that is compatible with a graduate's interests. Biological studies prepare students for work in the fields of conservation of natural habitats; zoos and botanical gardens; laboratories; primary, secondary and higher educational facilities; specialised laboratories; biotechnological companies that deal with new technologies; the fields of science and conservation of natural habitats; and facilities, research stations and institutions for environmental protection.

Please notice that this programme is only offered in the Polish language and the minimum required level of proficiency is B2 (upper intermediate).
