Bioinformatics

These studies of Bioinformatics are directed at people who are interested in biology, particularly genetics, but also at those who have scientific skills and are interested in informatics, especially programming techniques. A graduate of the bioinformatics has competence to work for facilities that deal with the processing of biological data with bioinformatics tools, such as pharmaceutical companies, bioinformatics companies, services and science laboratories, the science departments of clinical hospitals and facilities evaluating the genetics of plants and animals. Graduates are qualified to begin second-cycle studies of bioinformatics, biology, zootechnics, agriculture and related courses.

Please notice that this programme is only offered in the Polish language and the minimum required level of proficiency is B2 (upper intermediate).

Full-time studies

  • First cycle – bachelor studies (3 years)
  • Second cycle – master studies (2 years)
