Animal Husbandry

The Animal Husbandry programme provides knowledge in the fields of reproductive biology, genetics, methods for improving farm and household animals, fishing, bee-keeping, animal nutrition, animal feed science, assessment of materials of animal origin, ecology and environmental protection. Graduates also have a basic knowledge of informatics, economy, management and marketing.

Zootechnics graduates are prepared for work in local and central government administration, agricultural and breeding farms, farming inspection facilities, insemination services, agricultural advisory centres, banks, insurance companies, the food and agriculture industry, animal feed industry, businesses trading in animals and products of animal origin, research and scientific facilities, specialised laboratories, farming publication agencies and in schools.

Please notice that this programme is only offered in the Polish language and the minimum required level of proficiency is B2 (upper intermediate).

Full-time studies

  • First cycle –engineering studies (3.5 years)
  • Second cycle –Master's studies (1.5 years)
