Agriculture

Graduates of the Agriculture programme have an extensive knowledge of farming production technologies, especially crop cultivation, in accordance with the rules of sustainable development. They also have basic knowledge of biology, chemistry, ecology, economics and management of the production and functioning of agricultural infrastructure. Graduates can prepare and process the results of experiments and process data using the most modern IT technologies. Agriculture studies provide a comprehensive knowledge of agronomy, horticulture, zootechnics, food technology, economics and agricultural management and organisation. Many students of this faculty undertake work experience in Germany, Austria, Finland, Great Britain, France, Norway and Switzerland.

An agriculture graduate is ready to work in local and central government administration, agricultural consultancy, in companies that deal with the purchase and trade of plant products, or to run farms in Poland or abroad.

Please notice that this programme is only offered in the Polish language and the minimum required level of proficiency is B2 (upper intermediate).
